This page describes how the site is managed in relation to the processing of personal data of users who consult it. This information is also provided pursuant to art. 13 of Legislative Decree no. 196/2003 to those who interact with the services of our website, accessible by electronic means. The information is given only for our website and not also for other websites that may be consulted by the user through links. The information is also based on Recommendation No. 2/2001 that the European authorities for the protection of personal data, meeting in the Group established by Article 29 of Directive No. 95/46/EC, adopted on May 17, 2001 to identify certain minimum requirements for the collection of personal data online, and, in particular, the manner, timing and nature of the information that data controllers must provide to users when they connect to web pages, regardless of the purpose of the connection.

PLACE OF DATA PROCESSING AND PURPOSE

Processing related to the web services of this site takes place at the aforementioned location and is handled only by staff in charge of processing, or by those responsible for occasional maintenance operations. No data deriving from the web service is communicated (except with the consent of those concerned) or disseminated. The personal data provided by users who submit requests for information material to be sent to them through registration in the appropriate section (newsletters, promotions, reports, initiatives, communications, acts and measures, etc.) are used only to perform the service or provision requested and are not disclosed to third parties, except in cases where explicit consent is required and obtained, nor disseminated in any case.

TYPES OF DATA PROCESSED

Navigation data

The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This information is not collected to be associated with identified interested parties, but by its very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified. This category of data includes the IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users who connect to the site, the addresses in URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) notation of the resources requested, the time of the request, the method used in submitting the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the operating system and the computer environment used by the user. These data are used, if any, for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to check its correct operation and are deleted immediately after processing. The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of electronic mail to the addresses indicated on this site entails the subsequent acquisition of the sender’s address, necessary to respond to requests, as well as any other personal data included in the message. COOKIES

No personal data of users is acquired by the site in this regard. No use is made of cookies for the transmission of information of a personal nature, nor are so-called persistent cookies of any kind, i.e. systems for tracking users, used. The use of c.d. session cookies (which are not stored persistently on the user’s computer and disappear when the browser is closed) is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers (consisting of random numbers generated by the server) necessary to enable the safe and efficient exploration of the site. The so-called session cookies used in this site avoid the use of other computer techniques potentially prejudicial to the privacy of users’ browsing and do not allow the acquisition of personal identification data of the user.

OPTIONALITY OF PROVIDING DATA

Apart from what is specified for navigation data, the user is free to provide personal data in the forms on the site to request the sending of informative material or other communications. Failure to provide them may make it ‘impossible to obtain what has been requested. Please note that any personal data is conferred only if there is explicit consent from the ‘surfer’.

MODE OF TREATMENT

Personal data are processed primarily by automated means for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected. Specific security measures are observed to prevent data loss, illicit or incorrect use and unauthorized access.

RIGHTS OF INTERESTED PARTIES

The subjects to whom the personal data refer have the right at any time to obtain confirmation of the existence or otherwise of such data and to know its content and origin, verify its accuracy or request its integration or updating, or rectification (art. 7 of Legislative Decree no. 196/2003). Pursuant to the same article, one has the right to request the cancellation, transformation into anonymous form or blocking of data processed in violation of the law, as well as to oppose in any case, for legitimate reasons, their processing. Requests should be addressed to the Data Controller generalized above.
